Camp Sangre Valiente is New Mexico’s camp for bleeding disorder patients age 7 to 17 and their siblings and is held for one week every summer. This year's camp will be held at Camp Fort Lonetree located at the foot of the Capitan Mountains in Capitan, NM. Camp is one of the most important programs that SDO does every year, as it gives kids and young adults a chance to spend a week every summer learning more about bleeding disorders as well as having a great time!

The kids at camp will spend their week doing a variety of activities such as horseback riding, rappelling tower, climbing rock wall, giant water slide, remote control cars, giant swing, high and low ropes course with zip line, and other fun and educational activities. Camp Sangre Valiente is staffed by volunteers from the bleeding disorder community, the Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) staff, and local community members. It is funded by SDO’s fundraising activities throughout the year.
